Welsh riders come close at the National Youth Circuit Champs

Megan Barker and Jessica Roberts (Pictured) were the best finishers over the weekend in the National Youth Circuit Championships held in Bradford. On what was an unusually tough circuit both riders narrowly missed out on victory. Barker took silver in the Youth B Girls event and Roberts in the Youth C event. 

Megan James was also flying the flag for Wales with a bronze behind Roberts in the Youth C Girls event.

Amy Hill, Rebecca Hunt and Emily Nelson finished in 4th, 5th and 6th in the Youth A Girls event. Hill suffered some mechanical issues which cost her a higher placing.

Rob Westwood survived a blistering Youth A boys event to come home in 6th place.

In the support race, Kieran Morris took 2nd place and he will be a rider to watch as moves up through the age groups.
