Luke Rowe and Jon Mould - U23 Thuringen-Rundfahrt

Welsh riders Luke Rowe and Jon Mould came away from the high profile Thuringen-Rundfahrt with and stage win and a 3rd place between them. Rowe suffered a slight set back with a puncture that resulted in him crashing off the road but he did not let this stop him from winning the final stage. Jon Mould was also in good form with a 3rd place after narrowly loosing out in the sprint. Luke proved that consistency is the key with a 2nd place on stage 6 as a build up to his stage win on the final stage.

stage 1 - Luke 15th
stage 2 - Team Time Trial 6th
stage 3 - Jon 3rd - Luke 6th
stage 4 - Luke Crashed - had a rear wheel puncture on a 55km descent resulting in him leaving the road and going into a ditch, thankfully un-injured but winded with a sore lower back.
stage 5 - Luke Individual TT 9th
stage 6 - Luke 2nd
stage 7 - Luke 1st
