Riders all set for Scottish National Youth Time Trial Championships

This weekend (Saturday 19th August) there will be Youth championship titles up for grabs for those taking the start line in Monikie Country Park for the Scottish National Youth Time Trial Championships.

This time Event Organiser Martin Harris will be supported by Discovery Junior Cycling Club to host the championships which takes place over a 20km circuit, starting and finishing in the park.

A total of 40 Youths will be competing in four different categories, Youth A Boys, Youth A Girls, Youth B Boys and Youth B Girls. An open event for Seniors will also take place on the same course.

With only two of the 2016 Champions back to defend their titles, Alexander Dent (Nevis Cycles Racing Team) in the Youth A Boys category and Eva Young (Pedal Power RT) in the Youth B Girls category, it is all to ride for.

Head along to the park to watch the riders set off and return, with riders setting off from 9 am.
