Thirty-three young riders from Scottish clubs headed to Broadwood BMX track at Cumbernauld on Saturday for the Scottish Cycling Go-Ride Legacy Project coaching session.

The kids were supplied with helmets, bikes and knee/elbow pads for the session. They started off with some basic handling drills and made massive progress over the morning from some wobbly turns around some cones, to racing down the starting ramp, pumping through rollers and berms and getting faster through the day. The verdict from the kids was ' awesome' and 'epic!'

Thanks to North Lanarkshire Leisure for use of the track, Josh Hanlon for coaching and Awards for All for funding the project.
