This weekend sees the return of CX racing to Strathclyde Country Park with riders coming in their masses to what could possibly be one of the biggest competitive events in Scotland yet.

East Kilbride Road Club is hosting the third round of the Raleigh SCX Series in Motherwell. The course, situated in a high class venue, promises exciting racing for all 500 riders signed up for Sunday.

Riders, and spectators, should expect a mixture of fast sections, climbing and technical sections – all planned and put together by Michael Martin.

Racing start at 09.50 with the Under 8s and will continue until 1500 when the senior men should finish. A full timetable will be emailed to all entrants by the end of the week.
