TT: Goldsworthy on top in Blairdrummond

After his win in the previous day’s Ian Walls Memorial 10, Silas Goldsworthy (Sandy Wallace Cycles) proved he is equally adept at longer distances when he won the Scottish Veterans TTA Pinky Williams Trophy in Stirlingshire on Sunday.

The 26-year-old from Edinburgh clocked 1-03-59 to take victory by 16 seconds in the 30-mile race at Blairdrummond, with Royal Navy and Royal Marines CA rider Sean Childs taking second.

Sandy Wallace Cycles enjoyed a great performance in the event, with Alan Thomson and Peter Ettles finishing third and fourth with 1-05-03 and 1-06-01 respectively.
