TT: Skene takes first in Angie MacDonald TT

Granite City RT’s Norman Skene took first place in the Angie MacDonald 25-mile time trial in Invergordon on Saturday.

The 56-year-old completed the circuit in a time of 58:37 with Ross-Shire RCC’s Alan McCaffrey clocking a 59:54 to come second.

The fastest woman on the day was Laura Nicolson of Moray Firth CC with a time of 1:05:28. Laura finished seventh overall.

Eighth placed Iain Macleod (Denny RC) was the quickest veteran with a time of 1:06:33 and Thomas Deas (Cullin Wheelers) was fastest youth with a 1:11:27.
