Mission Statement:

The fundamental role of the Road Working Group (RWG) is to develop road racing and time trialling in Scotland and ensure that it is accessible, challenging and rewarding for all those involved. This means;

• Improving the organisational standard of events
• Improving the administrative systems and procedures within Scottish Cycling.

The RWG consists of key people from different backgrounds with sound knowledge, experience and understanding of road racing who can work in collaboration with others to develop the discipline and maximise its impact.

The RWG is appointed and Chaired by Scottish Cycling.

Appointments to the RWG are made in consultation with the Scottish Cycling Board, taking into account any recommendations from key people within the discipline.

Any key actions are elevated to the Board for ratification.
