Lap the Lough, the 130K Cycle Sportive around Ireland's iconic Lough Neagh will take place on 28th August starting from its new home Maghery Country Park (Exit 12 on the M1)
This year they've teamed up with Chain 
Reaction Cycles, the worlds largest online bike store, Vitus Bikes, Virgin Money Giving, Sainsburys and the Northern Ireland Tourist Board to bring you the biggest event yet. Two thousand cyclists are expected to take part in this year's 6th Lap. Its open to everyone including club cyclists, casual and beginners. They have training plans, advice on bikes and equipment, accommodation & ferry offers and much more online.
LTL is a ready made fundraiser. Anyone can set up their Virgin Money Giving page and raise as much money for their favourite charity.
This year they're going retro with a reverse course and a classic Lap the Lough cycle cap for all participants. They've also introduced a trade show, where the top manufacturers, retailers and specialists will be on hand to give advice.
