Scottish Cycling Performance Program

Scottish Cycling is committed to helping the best Scottish Cyclists progress to become world class riders in all disciplines. If you think that you have what it takes to perform on the world stage please take the time to read through this form and to fill it in with as much detail as you can. The more accurate and useful information you include, the better you will enable us to consider your application.

The programme is open to applications from riders competing in Junior, Under 23 and Elite categories in the 2013 season who want to achieve at the highest level. There are limited places available and inclusion in the program will be based upon your ability to progress towards British Cycling performance programs, professional cycling teams or Commonwealth Games selection.

The sole purpose of the Scottish Cycling performance programme is to provide the athlete with coaching, physiological, psychological and training support. The Scottish Cycling Performance Program will run from the 1st November 2012 – 31st October 2013 which will include an induction to the programme with all heads of discipline. Dates for this will be confirmed in due course. Athletes on the programme with Glasgow 2014 targets may have continued membership between 1st November 2012 and 31st October 2014. This will be confirmed on an athlete by athlete basis.

Closing date for all applications is 12 NOON Monday 8th October 2012. Final selection will be made Monday 15th October 2012
