British Cycling has named the under 23 track cyclists who will represent Great Britain at the Under 23 European Track Championships taking place in Portugal from 9-14 July.

Two-time Olympic gold medallist and current elite world champion Laura Trott has made selection, as have fellow elite world champions Becky James and Elinor Barker.

Performance Manager Shane Sutton said: “We’ve selected a small but strong, experienced squad for this year’s Under 23 European Championships and it will be interesting to see what they can do out in Portugal. We aren’t sending a junior squad this year as their focus is on the Junior Track World Championships in Glasgow in August.”
