UCI Cyclo-Cross World Championships
Switzerland | 1st - 2nd February
Following excellent results in the last of the Telenet Cyclo-Cross World Cups, four Scottish riders will join an 18 strong Great Britain Team heading to the CX Worlds this weekend. Cameron Masson, Rory McGuire, Anna Flynn and Corran Carrick-Anderon will be lining up against the best CX racers in the world. The course is set in an airfield in the outskirts of Zurich and promises to be technical and demanding. Around 300 athletes from 30 countries will take part in the international highlight of the cyclo-cross season. They will be supported by the over 20,000 spectators.
Speaking ahead of the Championships, Scottish Cycling MTB Coach Paul Newnham said, “It has been incredible to see the growth of Scottish Cyclocross over recent years both in terms of the boom in domestic racing numbers and in the representation of Scottish Athletes riding at World Cup level. To have four Scottish riders at this year’s World Championships if fantastic to see and we wish them all best and will be cheering them all the way”
UCI Para-Track Cycling World Championships
Canada | 30th January - 1st February
Three talented Scottish riders will make up part of the squad of 23 riders who head to Milton to defend the record breaking 23 medals they won at the UCI Para-Track World Championships last year. Fin Graham will ride the MC3, Neil Fachie will be piloted by his Rio 2016 partner Matt Rotherham in the sprint categories. Lewis Stewart will piliot Jame Ball for the endurance events.
Disco Jets Track Series Round 2

Working in partnership, Johnstone Jets Youth Cycling and Discovery Junior Cycling Club present a new series of events. The Disco Jets Track Series will consist of four track meetings split between the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome in Glasgow and the relaunched outdoor velodrome at Caird Park, Dundee. The series will incorporate racing for Youth A, B and C categories as well as Open races for Juniors, Seniors and beyond.
Scottish Cycling Young People's Panel Meeting

The Young People's Panel will meet for their first get together of 2020. They will do some team building activities, a session on presentation skills, project work and planning for the year ahead.
6th Doonbank Trofee - Super Quaich
Ayr | 2nd February
The 6th DoonBank Trofee is a promotion of Ayr Burners Cycling QTS. The event forms part of the Scottish Super Quaich Cyclocross Series. In addition to the Super Quaich events we will run a Youth and Junior event for u16 and u14. U12s will be invited to participated in a fun-run style event where the course will be open for 20 minutes and a medal will be presented to all participants.
