Scottish National BMX Championships 2019

8th June | Broadwood, Cumbernauld

2019 will be the first year that there has been a Scottish National Championship for BMX. Scottish Cycling are delighted to have secured this event and look forward to report on such an exciting discipline.

Scottish National Veteran Men's Road Race Championship: John Davies Memorial

9th June | Newton Mearns, Glasgow

VC Glasgow South are the organising Club for the 2019 Scottish National Veteran Men's Road Race Championship this weekend. Last years Champions were David Lines (V40) and Dominic Hines (V50) and competition will be fiece in both categories.

The John Davies Memorial Road Race was first introduced in memory of John Davies, a brilliant Commissaire and member of the Scottish Cycling Board.

Racing starts at 9.30am. If you are in the area do go along and support the riders.

Scottish National Women's Road Race Series: Pippa Handley RR

9th June | Eddleston

This is the first running of the Pippa Handley Road Race and the third race in the Scottish National Women's Road Race Series 2019.

The 55 mile road race is based on the Howgate-Gladhouse circuit used in past years by Edinburgh RC's Eastern Promise RR and is held over four undulating laps with a climb to the finish line.

Bike Week 2019

8th - 16th June | Edinburgh

Bike Week, delivered by Cycling UK, is an annual celebration to chowcase cycling. Riding a bike can easily be part of everyday life and Bike Week is here to inspire people all over the UK to give cycling a try.

Fiorenzuola GP Track Meeting

6th - 11th June | Fiorenzuola, Italy

Neah Evans, Jenny Holl and Katie Archibald will be riding at this famous track meet in Italy.

UCI U23 Nations Cup

6th - 9th June | Czech Republic

Following a brilliant weekend of racing in Poland last week, emerging young cycling stars head to Jesenik for the Race of Peace U23 2019. Scottish riders Sean Flynn and Struart Balfour will be riding for the Great Britain Cycling Team.
