The Scottish Alba Series Round 3: Hugh Dornan Memorial Road Race

The third round of the Scottish Alba Series will take place this weekend organised by Lomond Roads.

The Hugh Dornan Memorial Road Race is a tough and hilly 75 mile race taking in four laps of a circuit around the Rosneath Peninsula, and finishes at the top of the fifth ascent of the Whistlefield Hill. The race attracts a strong field of Elite, first, second and third category riders and promises to be quite the spectacle. Racing starts at 10am so do come along and support the riders.

UCI Mountain Bike World Cup

Albstadt, Germany

Friday 17th May - Sunday 19th May 2019

Eight months after the World Championships in Lenzerheide, the best mountain bikers in the world meet again for the first time on a weekend in Albstadt.Scottish athletes Isla Short, Sean Flynn, Charlie Aldridge, Anna Flynn, Anna McGorum and Jamie Johnston will be riding for the Great Brtain Cycling Team.

UCI Para-Cycling Road World Cup

Ostend, Belgium

Thursday 16th - Sunday 19th May 2019

A Time Trail, Road Race and Team Relay will take place across the weekend in Ostend. Scottish rider Finlay Graham will compete in the Para-Cycling Road World Cup as part of the Great Britain Cycling Team. Competing for her trade team Storey Racing will be Scottish athlete Hannah Dines.
