Youth Circuit Series Race 1: Ben Forsyth CRY Race Day

Organiser: Edinburgh Road Club

The first event in the Scottish National Youth Series takes place this Saturday organised by Edinburgh Road Club. The event, will be held in honour of Ben Forsyth, who was the first ERC Junior winner of a British Championship Circuit race in 2013.

The event is held in support of CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young) and its' screening events.

The Youth A boys will compete for the Ben Forsyth Trophy while Junior and Adult races take place alongside the Series event. Racing starts at 9am and continues throughout the day.

Mini Downhill Series Race 1  Contin Forestry Commission, Strathpeffer

Organiser: Black Isle Mountain Bike Club

 

Part of the Highland Hardline Downhill Race Series, Sunday will kick off the Mini Downhill Series at Contin. This event is the first in the qualifers for the Mini Downhill finals at the Fort William World Cup 2019.

Race Day Schedule

Sign on opens                                    8.30am to 10:00am

Course open for foot inspection         8.30am to 10:00am

Course opens for practice                10.00am to 12:30pm

Course Closed                                 12:30pm

First Race runs begin                        1:00pm

Second Race runs begin                   2:00pm

Prize giving                                        4:00pm

Want to qualify for the Mini Downhill finals? There will be five separate events spread across Scotland to provide as wide an opportunity for young racers to qualify as possible.
