Women's endurance riders Katie Archibald and Neah Evans who were dominant throughout the world cup series, performing at the highest level in all the endurance events will be hoping to continue this run of good form. Paisley born sprinting force Jack Carlin will be riding the sprint events in Poland, while Mark Stewart will represent in the men's endurance. Following his incredible ride at the National Track Championships last month, John Archibald also joins the endurance squad.

Performance director Stephen Park OBE said: “Track cycling in this country continues to become more competitive, and there’s a real sense of everyone ramping up their efforts as we head towards Tokyo 2020. This made for some difficult decisions for our selection panel but puts us in a good place at this stage of the Olympic cycle where our focus is narrowing in on Tokyo."

Congratulations to all the Scottish riders selected and we look forward to following along as the action unfolds in Poland.
