Scottish National Senior Track Championships 2018
Friday 9th November - Sunday 11th November 2018
Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome, Glasgo
The 2018 Scottish National Track Championships will take place this weekend. Racing starts on Friday, kicking off three days of top-class action at the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome.
Scene of the 2018 European Championships, Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games and the UCI Track Cycling World Cup, the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome provides an inspirational setting for these much anticipated National Championships. The championships feature over 80 races with nearly 130 riders taking part.
The event will see 22 new Scottish Champions crowned by the end of the weekend who will be invited to Scottish Cycling’s Roll of Honour event taking place on Saturday 9th March 2019 at Stirling Court Hotel. Here they will be recognised and awarded for their achievements.
Last year’s event saw lots of long standing National Records broken and many riders will be looking to challenge them this year. You can view the Scottish National Track Records here.
