With the final events of the Women's National Road Race Series, the National Youth Road Series and the Alba Road Series having concluded and the series' wrapped up, let's take a look at the winners!

Scottish Cycling National Women's Road Race Series 2018

Congratulations to Team 22's Ellie Park for taking the series on the final stage. Second place on the day was enough to wrap up the title for Ellie who managed to podium on two out of the four races.

Victory in rounds 1 and 4 were enough for Joanne Thom of Sandy Wallace Cycles to claim second place overall. Round 2's winner, Sarah Walker was able to hold onto the final podium position for the series despite not scoring at the final event.

In the team events, Inter-Regional got exciting with the North East overturning East & Central in the LAST ROUND!! Strength in numbers!

Team 22 smashed the team competition, but we had two new teams join the standings at the last round.

Scottish Cycling Youth Road Race Series 2018

Youth A Girls

Impressively consistant throughout the series, Lauren Davis found herself on the podium four times out of five. This included victory in round three. That was enough for series victory for her, beating Eva Young into second. Eva won the first three events but didnt score in the final two. Kirsty Hay smapped up the final podium position

Youth B Girls

The Youth B Girls Series Champion has been a foregone conclusion for a while now. Imani Pereira-James continued her winning streak in the final event to make it a five out of five clean sweep of victories. Kirsty Johnson and Evie White both climbed the rankings on the final day to finish second and third respectively.

Youth A Boys

Competitive till the end, this series was decided on the final day of competition. Callum Reid the eventual victor, followed closely by Aaron King and Hamish MacLaren. Hamish won the final event which gave him the points boost he needed to take the final podium position.

Youth B Boys

Edinburgh Road Club made it a one - two for the series with Archie Ellon and Alfie Atterton taking the top two podium positions. Keir Gaffney and Finn McHenry completed the series with the same points but it was Keir who was awarded the final podium position, this was based on his position at the final event of the series.

Scottish Alba Road Race Series

The Alba Series also wrapped up with the Pedal Power Road Race won by Jonathan Fowles. The top three places overall in the series went to William Corbett and Richard Jones from Ribble Cycling and Ruari Grant riding for Veloclub Edinburgh.
