Scottish National vet women's road race Championship
Kincraig, 9th September
The Sally Anne Low Memorial Women’s Road Race is one of the Sunday afternoon events of the annual Cairngorm CC race weekend. As with last year this race incorporates the Scottish National Women’s Series and the Scottish Veteran Women’s Road Race Championships. Last year, Louisa Sturrock claimed the victory and with a strong field of women signed up it looks set to be a brilliant race.
The women will complete two laps of the 15 mile course, finishing on top of The Brae in Kincraig. Racing starts at 14:30.
UCI Mountain Bike World Championships
Lenzerheide, 5 - 9th September
Scottish riders look set to dominate as they head to the UCI Mountain Bike World Championships to represent the Great Britain Cycling Team.
The UCI Mountain Bike World Championships are taking place in Lenzerheide from the 5th – 9th September and the Great British Cycling Team are taking a solid group of riders to compete, including some strong Scottish mountain bikers.

Ras Na mban
County Kilkenny, 5 - 9th September
Rás na mBan is the premier women’s cycling event in Ireland. In its current format it runs for five days with a total of six stages to a total of over 400km of racing action. A total of 117 riders from 25 teams representing 16 different nations took the start in Kilkenny for an event that has become established as one of the toughest and friendliest autumn stage races on the calendar. Several of Scotland's top women's road racers will be racing, including Rhona Callander, Jenny Holl, Mary Wilkinson and Jo Thom.
