SDA 2018 Series - Round 5 & Scottish Championships
Fort William, 2nd September
Fort William will once again host the Scottish Downhill MTB Championships this weekend. Last year the event was nearly cancelled due to adverse weather conditions, with those racing on the Sunday experiencing strong winds and torrents of water running down the rocky decents. Fortunately for riders and spectators alike the forcast looks good for the upcoming championships. Expect fast and furious racing from all categories.

ovo energy tour of britain
Across Britain, 2 - 9 September
The 2018 OVO Energy Tour of Britain, which takes place from 2 to 9 September, will include a team time trial for the first time, as well as a summit finish on Whinlatter in Cumbria on Stage Six. Sadly, the race does not come to Scotland this year, however, Scottish rider Joe Nally will be riding for the Great Britain Cycling Team.
The 1,140-kilometre route will take the world’s top riders from Pembrey Country Park on the Carmarthenshire coast in South Wales to the streets of Central London, via Devon, Bristol, Warwickshire, Cumbria and Nottinghamshire across eight stages of racing.
We look forward to supporting Joe and the rest of the Great Britain Cycling Team.
