The Scottish National Criterium & Youth Road Race Championships will take place on Sunday 27th May.
Nearly 200 competitors will take part in the events across all categories on Sunday at the Fife Cycle Park. The venue was officially opened on Wednesday by record breaking long-distance cyclist Mark Beaumont, Team Scotland rider and Fife local Eileen Roe, and Provost of Fife Jim Leishman. This will be the first major event held at the venue.
The circuit has been used already for a number of events with competitors and users giving loads of fantastic feedback.
Racing starts at 10:00 with the Youth C Championship on the 1km circuit and the non Championship Youth D&E on the 500m ‘hairdryer’ circuit. After that all events move to the full circuit.
The organisers, Spokes Racing Team working with Mark Young at MyTiming will be providing a live feed for the event.
