Stirling Bike Club and the University of Stirling will host the second round of the Scottish National Youth Road Race Seriesat Crit on the Campus on Sunday1st April.

With the first round cancelled due to bad weather, this race is set to be a great start to the series.

The University Campus grounds will be closed and transformed into an exciting and unique race course for riders of all abilities. The riders will race in a glorious setting for up to an hour on a circuit that loops around the main University building, and which includes a few speed bumps and tight turns.

Around 430 riders have signed up across all races, making this one of the biggest days on the Scottish road racing calendar. Racing begins at 8.30 am with a series of youth races, showcasing the future stars of the Scottish road racing scene.  There will be races for all Youth categories, A-E, with the Youth A and B riders forming round  two of the Scottish Cycling Youth Series.

This will be an exciting and action-packed day of racing, on the beautiful University of Stirling campus, and will provide spectators with the opportunity to watch a broad spectrum of racers, from Under 8s all the way up to Elite professional riders.
