Scottish Cycling is delighted announce that the 2017 Annual General Meeting will take place at The Stirling Highland Hotel on the 25th November 2017.
In previous years the AGM has taken place in Glasgow, Perth and Edinburgh so Scottish Cycling is thrilled to this year take the event to Stirling – home of Stirling Bike Club and their infamous event Crit Under the Castle, as well as Team Scotland who already have Gold Coast 2018 preparations well underway.
The AGM will again be followed this year by a ‘Sharing Best Practice’ session as we have done for the past two consecutive years.
Previously we have had speakers from BMX, Ythan CC, West Lothian Clarion, Stirling Bike Club and the Commissaire Commission to name a few, with topics on volunteering, facility development, event delivery and coaching.
If you would like to present this year, or have any topics you would be interested in learning about, then please email firstname.lastname@example.org with your suggestions.
Last year Scottish Cycling also hosted a Roll of Honour ceremony on the same day as the AGM. This year the project team have taken the decision to move the Roll of Honour to February 2018 – therefore giving the ability to incorporate the 2017 Cyclo-cross National Champions too.
Further information on this event will be made available soon.
