It is a Scottish National Championship weekend with the 25 mile time trial taking place in Forfar on Sunday (4th June.)

The brand new event for this year, organised by Alasdair Chisholm and Dundee Thistle Cycling Club is based at Forfar Community Campus with the course running entirely on the A90 from Forfar to Brechin and back.

The course, which hasn’t been used for around 10 years, will have 24 female and 109 male competitors riding for the fastest time – including Youth and Juniors.

Event Organiser, Alasdair Chisholm said:

“This is a potentially fast course with only the single turn, so if the weather is kind we could see some very fast times from the likes of Jon Entwistle and last years' champion John Archibald amongst others.”
