Round 1 of the Scottish Mini Downhill Series took place on Sunday the 2nd of April at Learnie Red Rocks, with Black Isle MTB Club taking on the running of the event.

Over 75 Youth riders aged from 8-16 got on their downhill bikes and hurtled down the hill!

Making the most of the ‘Take Care of Your Trails’ Weekend, Black Isle MTB Club had been hard at work to create a course which was fast, exciting and even included an optional large jump!

After a hard day of racing, the top two riders in each category qualified for the Mini DH finals at the Fort William MTB World Cup on the 3rd of June. There were also two wildcard places awarded to riders who showed particular spirit and determination.
