Following on from the cancellation of the Scottish National 100 Mile Time Trial Championship on Sunday 7th August, we are now able to announce that the championships have been rescheduled for Sunday 21st August.

The cancellation was made due to the bad weather conditions, with high winds that could have posed a danger to the riders.

We apologise for any inconvenience that was caused by the consequence of the adverse weather and we extend our thanks to each of you for the thanks you expressed to the team on the day and for your respect of the final decision.

To ensure the Championship is not lost for 2016, together with both Event Organisers we have selected the Furneau Trophy as the alternative 2016 Scottish National 100 Mile Time Trial Championship.

The Furneau Trophy has been the National Championship in previous years and will be held on Sunday 21st August, promoted by Kenneth Anderson of Deeside Thistle CC.

We want to thank Kenneth for taking on the championship with only two weeks to go, also to our Commissaire team and the original Event Organiser, Katrina Moir from Ross Shire RCC, who worked very hard on the planning of the event.

Katrina will process refunds on all entries for the original Championship.  Any riders still wishing and able to contest the new 2016 Scottish National 100 Mile Time Trial Championship should follow this link to enter the event.  Entries close on Sunday 14th August at 23:55.
