Jessica Roberts, from team USN made sure that she led them to win the overall best team.

Scotland Burness Paull were second in the team standings, with Rhona Callander and Jenny Holl 3rd and 4th respectively in the girl’s leaderboard.

Sir Chris Hoy was in Manchester to present the winners of the HOY Future Stars competition and said:

"Congratulations to all of the competitors. Lewis was a strong rider throughout the series, and it is great to see a fellow Scot amongst the winners! The HOY Future Stars competition offers a fantastic opportunity for junior riders and sets them up for racing at elite level in later years. I wish Lewis all the best in his future cycling career."

In the elite competition, Jon Dibben and Owain Doull of Team Wiggins wrapped up the Revolution Series finale by winning every race on the day, securing overall victory.

It was teamwork that won the pair the overall series and the madison time-trial on the evening, beating their closest rivals in the standings, Pedalsure, by four tenths of a second.

Scotland Burness Paull finished in 9th across the series, a few points short of the Telegraph Allstars and Team Sky.

Gary Coltman, Scottish Cycling Head of Performance says:

“The Revolution series continues to provide some great opportunities for Scot’s to race at the highest level, and I am pleased that we had a strong Scotland Burness Paull team competing in the series.
