The Kilmacolm Kermesse returns this Sunday to Renfewshire for a 64 mile race around an 8 mile circuit.

Starting at 1pm, the scene is set for a thrilling contest, with a number of in-form riders including Peter Murdoch (Paisley Velo Race Team), David Lines (Starley Primal Pro Cycling) and Craig Adams (Leslie Bike Shop/Biker’s Boutique), the top three in the National Road Race series after four events; joining them are James McCullum (NFTO), Mark Stewart (Spokes Racing Team) and Ben Greenwood (Leslie Bike Shop/Biker’s Boutique) all looking for a good result as the season intensifies.

The Scottish Summer has postponed itself for another week, and the weather looks to add itself to the mix, with a strong wind forecast, along with the threat of rain as the afternoon wears on.
