At the 2013 AGM a resolution was passed to create 5 Regional Development Groups (RDGs) and create a Joint vision for the future of Scottish Cycling. Scottish Cycling is now working towards implementing this new structure over the coming year.

The new structure was proposed to mitigate against a significant business risk and to improve the services and support provided through our Regional Development Officers. At the heart of this implementation will be communication with our clubs, our members and our stakeholders at a local and regional level, to ensure that the new regional structure is as effective and efficient as possible.

Currently RDOs are working with their emerging RDGs to finalise their terms of reference and to develop a plan for the Region for the forthcoming business year starting on the 1st April.
