Tickets now on sale for the Scottish Cycling National Track Championships

11^th – 13^th October & 27^th October, Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome

Throughout 4 days of competition, 11^th – 13^th October & 27^th October, the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome will play host to the championships, which forms part of the £113million Commonwealth Arena, where riders will have the chance to compete for the acclaimed Scottish Championship titles. Some of the titles on offer include; Sprint, Team sprint and Keirin, Madison, Pursuits, Points races and Time Trials.

Scottish cycling stars, present and future, will descend on the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome with many of the Scottish Cycling performance athletes looking to set qualification standards for the Commonwealth Games, Glasgow 2014.

Craig Burn, Chief Executive of Scottish Cycling, the national governing body for cycling in Scotland said: “It’s fantastic that the Scottish Cycling National Track Championships is set to return to the Sir Chris Hoy velodrome for 2013. It will be one of the last opportunities for spectators to join us at the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome ahead of the 2014 Commonwealth Games.

Scottish Cycling is committed to developing the sport at every level and we are delighted that we are able to invite the public to join us for this great event.

The facility itself is a superb legacy for Scotland and will aid the development of the next generation of elite Scottish athletes like Sir Chris Hoy himself. We are hoping we might even see the stars of the future begin their winning careers at this year’s championships.”

The Scottish National Track Championships will take place from 11^th – 13^th October & 27^th October at the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome, Glasgow.
