Scottish Riders Results 

Male 30 -34                        

Andrew Louis from Glasgow Life Track CT won the Sprint with a time of 11.445 and took second place in the 1km TT with a time of 1.08.041

Male 30 – 34                      

Martin Lonie 2nd in 15km Scratch race, 4th in the 3km pursuit with a time of 3.43.632 and 5th place in the 1km TT with a time of 1.10.409

Male 35-39                         

Bruce Croall of the City of Edinburgh RT had an outstanding meet winning the 1km TT possibly beating his age group world record (confirmation pending) with a time of 1.03.212 as well as winning the Sprint category with a time of 10.767 (a personal best)and the 15km scratch race

Male 35-39                         

Alan Holmes of the Johnstone Wheelers was riding well taking 9th place in the 1km TT with a time of 1:14:945 and taking 4th place in the Sprint with a time of 12:721, 3rd in the 3km Pursuit with a time of 3:47:201

Male 40-44                         

David Martin from the bicycleworks.com took 4th place in the 750m TT with a time of 54:455 closely followed by Gerry McGarrity of Inverclyde Velo with a time of 55:125, Graham also took 4th place in the 3km pursuit with Calum Finlayson taking 10th place for Forres CC in the same race with a time of 3:53:878.  Graham continued on to take 6th place in the 15km scratch race

Male 45-49                         

Scottish places were taken in the 750m TT when Colin MacKenzie, riding for Edinburgh RC took 3rd place with a time of 53:669 and Mark Ewing for the West Lothian Clarion took 6th place with 58:844.  Colin continued on to take 2nd place in the Sprint with a time of 12:243, with 3 places taken by Scottish riders in the 3km pursuits race, 5th place to Mark Ewing with a time of 3:50:854, Neil Dawson of Sandy Wallace Cycles taking 7th place with a time of 3:56:690 and Alan MaClean of the Glasgow Wheelers coming in 9th with a time of 4:02:760.  Mark Ewing also rode in the 15km Scratch race taking 11th place.

Male 50-54                         

Peter Ettles snr, of Sandy Wallace Cycles took 7th place in the 500m TT with a time of 36:898,  2nd place in the 2km Pursuit with a time of 2:25:99 and 2nd in the 10km scratch race.  Stephen McCaw also of Sandy Wallace Cycles took 4th place in the 2km Pursuit with a time of 2:27:24 and 16th place in the 10km Scratch Race, with Ivor Reid of Clachnacuddin CC taking 3rd overall in the Sprint with a time of 11:855.

Male 55-59                         

Ian Humphreys of Sandy Wallace Cycles took 3rd place in the 500m TT with a time of 38:296 with Graham Barclay of Team Leslie Bike Shop close on his heels in 5th place with a time of 38:318.  The tables were turned in the 2km Pursuit where Graham won with a time of 2:27:003 and Ian close in second place with a time of 2:28:235, Graham continued with his winning streak taking 1st in the scratch race and walking away with a bronze medal from the meet.

Male 60-64                         

Robert Wilson of the Glasgow Couriers took 8th place in the 500m TT with a time of 43:602 and second in the 2km Pursuit with a time of 2:42:15

Male 65-69                         

The 500mTT saw George Grant taking 7th place with a time of 46:716 and then 5th place in the 2km Pursuit with a time of 2:59:730, and then 11th place in the Points race with Peter Robertson of the same club taking 8th place in the points race.

Male 70-74                         

Peter Robertson of Forres CC continued the winning streak of the club by coming in 1st in the 500mTT with a time of 42:936, with John Mason of Ayr Roads CC taking 3rd place in the same race with a time of 43:181.  Again John Mason took 3rd place in the Sprint with a time of 14:42 and the 2km Pursuit with a time of 2:59:050.  Grant George then went on to take 11th place in the Points race.

Male 75+                            

Gordon Johnstone of Sandy Wallace Cycles took third place in the 500mTT with a time of 46:310, then went on to win the 2km Pursuits race with a time of 2:59:840.  John Mason of Ayr roads again sat in 3rd place in the sprint

Female 30-34                    

The 500m TT saw Jennifer Davis of City of Edinburgh RT taking first place with a time of 37:106 with Ishbel Taromsari of Pedal Power Race team taking second with 37:655 and Louise Haston also from City of Edinburgh RT taking 4th with a time of 39:702.  The same placings of 1st and second repeated in the Sprint with times of 12:195 and 12:336 with Louise Haston this time stepping into 3rd place with a time of 12.997.  Louise continued on to take 2nd place in the 2km Pursuit and 4th in the Scratch race with Jennifer Davis claiming 3rd in the Scratch.  Julie Dominguez also rode in the Scratch taking 9th place.

Female 35-39                    

Julie Dominguez of the west Lothian Clarion took 3rd place in the 500m TT with a time of 41:148 with Fiona Walker from Walkers CC taking 6th place with a time of 47:496. Julie then went on to take 2nd in the Sprint with a time of 13:733 and Fiona fourth with a time of 15:445. Fiona then took 5th place in the 2km pursuit race with a time of 3:00:990 with Jennifer Davis following up her previous success with 3rd in the Scratch race and Louise Haston taking 5th place and Julie Dominguez taking 8th in the same race.

Female 40-44                    

In the sprint race 2nd place was taken by Julie Dominguez with a time of 12:662 and 4th by Fiona Walker with a time of 15:445. 

Females 45-49                  

Gwynneth Rixon of Sandy Wallace Cycles took 6th place in the Sprint race with a time of 15:529

Females 50+                      

The 500m TT saw Scottish ladies taking 3rd, 4th and 5th place with Gwynneth Rixon taking 3rd with a time of 45:620, Isabel Fletcher of Glasgow Wheelers CC taking 4th on 45:798 and Jenni Nicholson also of Sandy Wallace cycles taking 5th with a time of 46:646.  Gwynneth carried on to take 6th place in the Sprint with a time of 15:529, 4th place in the 2km Pursuit with a time of 3:07:099 being beaten by her team mate Jenni Nicholson who took 3rd place with a time of 3:01:238.
