The South West Scotland Cycling Project will be hosting this years Scottish vets national road race championships. The race for 40+ & 50+ age categories will take place on Saturday 27th July on the Clarebrand circuit near Castle Douglas in Dumfries & Galloway.

The course, which was used for the early season SWSCP races, should prove a testing affair. Although it doesn’t have any massive climbs, it’s a testing, rolling course with a two mile drag to the finish.

The race will be run off in the normal high safety standards that riders have come to expect from SWSCP races with NEG cover.

Entries are now open and full details can be found on the SWSCP website
