Looking for something to do at the weekend . . . Why not come along to the Scottish Bike Show?

Scottish Cycling will be running the Cycle Test track area, where you will be able to come and 'have a go' on the test track, we will be running pedal analysis sessions throughout the day and pitting riders against the clock and each other on our 200m sprint Watt Bike challenge.  On Saturday and Sunday you can take part in one of our bike rides with our Sky Ride Leaders, choose from one of two routes:

  • SECC – New ‘Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome’ and back to the Scottish Bike Show (40km) 
  • SECC – Transport Museum and back to the Scottish Bike Show (8km)

Please bring your own bike if you would like to take part!

The Scottish Bike Show (TSBS) returns for 2012 and Scottish Cycling are pleased to be supporting this fantastic show once again! Taking place over three days, 13 - 15th April 2012, its looking bigger and better than ever!

Following the huge success of TSBS in 2011, organisers Magdala Media, have added an extra day to this year’s show.  They have increased the exhibition space by more than 1200 square meters allowing for more exhibitors, more brands, more challenges and promotions, more displays and features for you to enjoy! You can also take part in the Scottish Bike Show Sportive, Scotland's newest mass participation cycle events, with two challenges through the beautiful countryside of Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park, on Sunday 15th April 2012.

Scottish Cycling with the support of Developing Mountain Biking in Scotland, will be taking over the Cycle Test track area, where you will be able to come and 'have a go' on the test track, use your skills on our watt bike challenge, win prizes and much much more.  Keep an eye on the Scottish Cycling website over the next few weeks for more information!

The Scottish Bike Show returns for 2012 and Scottish Cycling are pleased to be supporting this fantastic show once again!

Following the huge success of TSBS in 2011,organisers Magdala Media, have added an extra day to this year’s show.  They have increased the exhibition space by more than 1200 square meters allowing for more exhibitors, more brands, more challenges and promotions, more displays and features and bigger test tracks to keep the projected 10,000 visitors entertained all weekend.

Scottish Cycling with the support of Developing Mountain Biking in Scotland, will be taking over the Cycle Test track area. Keep an eye on the Scottish Cycling website for more information!

For the second year running, Scotland’s growing cycling community – road, mountain bike,  BMX, leisure riders and commuters – will have an all encompassing cycle show right on their door step.  An expanded number of independent bike shops, distributors and manufacturers will beselling a huge range of the latest bikes, cycle gear, clothing and accessories. A central arena willhost jaw dropping cycle stunt displays from, among others, the BSD BMX stunt team; ‘have a go’ sessions and Scotland’s cycling organisations and cycle centers offering expert advice, there will be something for everyone.
