Lorna, a former member of Scottish Cycling Staff, past away peacefully on Monday 21st November 2011 after a long fight with cancer at the Marie Curie Hospice, Edinburgh.

Lorna worked as administrator for Scottish Cycling for over a decade, where she dealt with membership renewals, administering MBLA and assisting with day to day bookkeeping. (In those days SC staff consisted only of Jim Riach and Lorna herself)

Lorna also played a significant part in dealing with entries to the national mountain bike series before the formation of SXC and was a regular helping out on race day, setting up the event and dealing with entry issues.

She was always cheery and well liked, so will be sadly missed. Our thoughts are with Lorna's family at this sad time.

Service was held at Mortonhall Crematorium Main Chapel, on Monday 28th November.
