SMBLA Annual General Meeting & Workshop - 10.00hrs, Sunday 04th December 2011

Workshop:

A workshop will be held on the "way forward for MBLA". This will be facilitated by Jim Riach MBLA Chair and Craig Burn Scottish Cycling CEO. This workshop will provide an outline of recent discussions and developments that could potentially impact on the future of MBLA. A summary of discussions with BC on partnership working and an update on progress made in meetings with Skills Active UK, BC, CTC, MBLA and MIAS on the development of a UK Mountain Bike Leadership award.

 
The aim of the workshop is to agree the most appropriate way forward to protect the position of existing tutors and to recognise the significant contribution that MBLA has made to date.
