Scottish Cycling is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of member Graeme McGilvray, who died tragically after being involved in a road accident in Majorca on Tuesday.

Graeme, a member of Lomond Roads Cycling Club had been out cycling with other club members when the accident happened.

Craig Burn, Chief Executive of Scottish Cycling, spoke on behalf of the governing body: “My heart goes out to Graeme’s family and friends at this difficult time, and all at Scottish Cycling send our deepest sympathies. This is a tragic accident which will be felt deeply within the club and across the Scottish cycling community."
