Andy Betts (Felt-Colbornes RT) raced to victory in the second event of the SERRL Winter Series on Sunday.

The 35-year-old pipped Alan Strang (Dulwich Paragon) to the win after pulling away with 300 yards to go.

Betts had taken the lead on the second lap and taken Strang with him, although there was a sizeable gap between them and the rest of the field, with the two riders at the back being lapped twice.

Only five riders entered the race on what was a very wet, windy and cold day.
