Road: Lampier shines in Hog Hill Series win

Making his first appearance in the competition, Steve Lampier (Team IG-Sigma Sport) took the elite honours in the twelfth round of the Hog Hill Summer Series at Redbridge.

The Peterborough-based 28-year-old got the better of the previous week’s winner, Owen Lake (Cambridge CC), while there was a first-ever win for Stefaan Van Poucke (Braintree

Velo CRC) in the supporting rrace for third and fourth categories and Elinor Winter (Corvida Allpress) chalked up her fifth victory of the women’s series.
