Event: 6 May 2012
Report: Snowdon Sports

Nathan Wilson of Wilson Wheels took victory in the Bridlington CC road race on Saturday after prevailing over a close field in a bunch finish.

The top 16 riders all completed the race within a few bike lengths as the pack condensed for a sprint at the end of seven laps in Burton Fleming.

The seven and a half mile circuit was blessed with good conditions on the day after severe rain and winds saw many events raced in terrible conditions last week.

Ewan Sewell of York Cycleworks was closest to catching Wilson, but the 25-year-old Driffield rider showed great strength to hold the chasers off on the line.
