Team Royal London 360's annual youth league prize presentation was held recently in the Villa Marina's Royal Hall.

Royal London's Communications Executive Merita Taylor and Corporate Responsibility Manager Steve Wright handed out the medals and prizes (Mark Cavendish T-shirts) in front of a capacity audience.

A total of 645 children took part in the 2011 series, with the class winners' yellow jerseys going to Jemma Quayle, Peter Lloyd, Hollie Palmer, Zachary Dowson, Mairi Harrison, Harry Kneen, Mia Worthington, Zac Walker, Darcy Cain, Percy Hampton, Blae Cain, Aaron Lund, Emma Draper, Tosh Teare, Ciara Sowerby, Adam Kelly, Tara Ferguson, Matthew Draper, Emily Bridson, Charlie Gibson, Eleanor Davies, William Draper, Breeshey Cain, Matthew Bostock, Nathan Draper, Anna Christian and Jake Kelly.

The team's annual award winners were also revealed on the night. Percy Hampton picked up the Peter Buckley Trophy as the most promising young rider, while Tosh Teare received the Steve Hislop Cup for the most improved rider.

All-rounder Eleanor Davies was awarded the Marie Noon Trophy for her impressive performances on and off the island and the league's under 16 champion Jake Kelly collected the Alex Forrest and James Berry Trophies in recognition of another outstanding season.

In addition to the silverware bursaries were awarded to Jamie Dudley, who received a cheque for £150 from Rosanne Coward in memory of her late husband George Wilson, and Josh Knights, who collected £500 from Peter Quayle in memory of his father Stewart.

Finally, Jo Wright from Lloyds TSB Offshore Ltd - the national sponsor for the 2012 Olympics - presented the club with eight tickets for February's cycling World Cup track meeting (an Olympic test event) in London's new velodrome. As the sponsor for London 2012 Lloyds were able to purchase tickets for the Olympic test event of their choice and they had no hesitation in opting for the cycling World Cup and donating the tickets to Team RL 360 members.
