Team Royal London 360 has won the GHS British National Juvenile 10 mile Time Trial Championship team prize for an unprecedented fifth time.

Competing against 128 of Britain's top young cyclists at the recent national final in Walton-on-the-Wolds in Leicestershire, Jake Kelly, Joshua Knights and Jamie Dudley won the coveted team award in a combined time of 1:07:47, which was just five seconds short of the championship record set in 1991.

Individually, Kelly clocked a personal best time of 21:54 to finish an excellent fourth overall, a slender 11 seconds behind bronze medalist Oliver Wood (Aire Valley RT). Knights posted a PB equaling 22:29 for a fine twelfth and Dudley got round in 23:24 (thirtieth overall) to seal the victory in the team competition.

There were also some outstanding performances from the other Royal London members who contested the final. Leon Mazzone covered the distance in 25:01 for fifty-third place overall (ninth 14 year old) and Joseph Haddock stopped the watch at 26:14 for seventy-fourth position (fifth 13 year old), while Conor Davies went faster than ever before to come be the fifth 12 year old in a good 27:38.

The multi- talented Germain Burton (Team De Ver) was the overall winner in an impressive 21:15, a comfortable 24 seconds ahead of silver medalist Jake Alderman (One & All Cycling).

In the girls competition Anna Christian was eighth quickest (eighty-fourth overall) in 26:55 and Sophie Black eleventh (eighty-eigth overall) in a personal best time of 27:14, with up-and-coming riders 13 year old Phoebe Ferguson and 12 year old Eleanor Davies taking minutes off their previous PBs to finish nineteenth and twenty-fourth in 28:53 and 29:31 respectively.

Alice Barnes (Motorpoint Pro Cycling), the sister of Commonwealth Youth Games winner Hannah, retained her 2010 title in a girls' championship record of 23:37.
