2010 Brighton Mitre Circuit Races

Now into its third season, Friday night circuit racing returns to Brighton & Hove for 2010 in the shape of the Brighton Mitre Hove Crit Series commencing on the 23rd April. Each evening kicks off with a 4th Category-only event over 30 minutes plus 5 laps, followed by a 2nd/3rd Category contest over 50 minutes plus 5 laps.
The 1km circuit - situated at the northern end of Hove Park - is a tight affair that rewards shrewd, attacking riding and good bike-handling, and features a strength-sapping power climb which will have its say on the final placing. The races are always enjoyable to both participate in and watch, and with last years winner Felix English moving up to Category 1, we’ll be guaranteed a new Hove Park Crit Champion for 2010. You never know it maybe you, so why not come along and give it a go.

Times:
- 4ths event starting at 6.45pm, followed by the 2nds/3rds at 7.25pm.
Prizes on offer for:
- 1st & 2nd in Category 4 Race
- 1st 2nd/3rd in Category 2/3 Race
Overall Category 2/3 Series Winner, runners-up 2nd & 3rd (based upon placing and primes), and the best Sussex Rider Overall Category 2/3 Series.
