Carmarthen Track Attack Beginner Courses set to get youngsters riding.

Welsh Cycling are set to make huge steps forward and build on cycling's success in Wales with the introduction of Track Attack in Carmarthen in February.

Geraint Thomas OBE is the perfect example of how initiatives like this reap success and emphasise the importance of projects like 'Track Attack' and 'Club Clusters' in nurturing future talent and also increasing participation in sport.

The Track Attack initiative has been designed to remove obstacles to Youths trying to enter the sport of track cycling, plus it creates a structured programme of cycling activities which takes youngsters from their initial experience of cycling through to a level competent enough to join a local club.

The programme is to attract children from the community groups, schools, other sports clubs and holiday sessions to enjoy taster sessions at the facilities, with many returning for after schools courses and further holiday sessions.
