Welsh Cycling would like to extend our thanks to every single volunteer who has given their time to make cycling happen across Wales in 2018. All of the races and events could not go ahead if it wasn’t for those of you who give your time to cycling events in Wales, so a huge thank you on behalf of Welsh Cycling.

2019 Domestic Event Calendar

The events calendar for Wales 2019 is now being prepared, for any organiser wanting to register an event please send your dates and information via email OR register your event by Friday 2nd November 2018.

(Calendar planning / Risk Assessment Preparation / Police Liaison / Commissaire Planning) 

2019 Welsh Cycling Championships:

 Invitations are now open for expressions of interest to run a Welsh Cycling Championship event for 2019

Please see information below on all Welsh Cycling Championships:

As an event organiser for a Welsh Cycling Championship you will receive access to:

-          Additional support from Welsh Cycling

-          Race Equipment

-          Timing Equipment (Circuit / BMX / MTB / Cyclo-Cross)

-          Welsh Cycling Championship Medals & Jerseys

-          Welsh Cycling Branding

-          Promotion via all of our social media channels and website

The deadline for expressions of interest for any discipline are required by Friday 2nd November 2018 via email to events.officer@welshcycling.co.uk

Please note - You may then be asked to complete a tender document for consideration by an events commission.

Risk Assessments (Road):

For 2019 Risk assessments will be available for all existing road courses.

When registering your event, you must upload a Permit Application Form with the following information:

-          Course name + reference number (Road & Circuit)

-          Number of laps (Road only)

-          Total race distance (Road only)

If you wish to use a new course – please let us know by Friday 2nd November 2018 for consideration by the risk assessors.
