British Cycling has today confirmed the venues and dates for the 2016 British Cycling MTB Cross-country Series and National Championships.

The 2016 series will once again comprise five rounds and will be co-ordinated by British Cycling in partnership with regional organisers.

The season opens at Pembrey Country Park in South Wales, a venue new to the British Cycling MTB Cross-county Series, and the round will be organised by A Cycling. Round two takes riders to Newnham Park near Plymouth, in association with Fully Sussed.

Round three sees the return of former world cup venue Dalby Forest in North Yorkshire, in collaboration with Nutcracker Racing, while the final two rounds revisit two of 2015’s popular locations: Fforest Fields near Builth Wells, organised by John Lloyd Events, and Cannock Chase in Staffordshire in collaboration with Run and Ride.

The 2016 British Cycling MTB Cross-country National Championships will take place at the Cathkin Braes Commonwealth Games venue in Glasgow, run by Scottish XC.

Full entry details will be posted here on the British Cycling website later in the year.
