National series points scoring

The first 40 finishers in each category will receive series points as follows:

60, 56, 52, 49, 46, 43, 40, 38, 36, 34, 32, 30, 28, then reducing by one point per place to 40th place.

The best four scores will count towards the overall points result.  In the event of a tie on points, priority will be given to the highest finisher in the final round, or the most recent round if none of the tied riders contest the final round.

Once the winner of a series category crosses the line to finish, all other riders in the same category shall finish their race when they next cross the line.  Lapped riders should not complete additional laps, but will be classified according to their position after those riders in the same lap as the winner.

In the event that the Commissaire President opts to apply the 80% rule, eliminated riders will be classified according to their final position at the appropriate number of laps.

Riders who abandon, who fail to cross the line after the category winner, or are not classified under the 80% rule, shall not be classified.
