Scott Beaumont returned to his dominant winning ways as he topped the podium in the fifth round of the HSBC UK | National Four Cross Series in Falmouth.

It a return to business for Beaumont, who went undefeated all day despite still carrying an injury to his left hand.

But the elite men’s field put on a good show, with Duncan Ferris making some fantastic moves on the new lower corners of the track to come in close behind in second.

With only three elite women and junior men in attendance, the decision was made to include them in the senior men’s field, and it was Megan Wherry who impressed, coming seventh overall as well as taking the win in the third moto.

Courtney Abbiss followed Wherry up in second, while Hannah Escott took third in the elite women’s category.

The junior riders made the senior field a fantastic mix, but it was William Mills who really showed his class, taking the overall as well as the junior win.
