The final round of the Back on Track Bash Series is almost upon us and the weather for the weekend is not looking too bad (even if that is by UK standards).

Pre-entry has now closed but entry on the day is still available for all categories. The morning sees Junior, Youth, Juvenile, Women and Fun categories starting off at 10.30 am for race 1. Under 10’s and Under 12’s race at 12.30pm and 12.45pm respectively and the senior men’s categories are off in the final race of the day at 2pm.

The course has been tweaked for this final round with some of the descents and climbs being reversed for round 4. Some elements of the course will be familiar but others have being linked in an alternative way to create something that is very different to round 1 and will leave you wondering where you are at times as the course snakes through the woodland. Some of the favourite sections are of course retained – the doubles, gully and log jump all still feature.

In addition to the prizes for top three on the day, the overall series top three in each category will be decided this weekend as well. For those contesting the overall there is still all to play for in many categories.

If you have any further queries then please do not hesitate to contact Keith Evans, the lead organiser for this round, on keithevans@britishcycling.org.uk or 07940 302073.

Venue Information

The venue at Storridge is on private land and riding at the venue is prohibited outside the day of the event.

The postcode for the venue is WR13 5EX. There will be signage from the turning off the A4103. Take care on the road up to the venue as it is narrow in places.

As the weather has been kind in the last few weeks the top field will be used for car parking. Again follow the signage and park where directed to by the marshals.
