The weather’s taken its toll on many of our off road locations recently and the latest event to fall foul of the weather is this weekend’s National Fourcross Championships and round 4 of the Schwalbe British 4X Series.

The organiser has considered all his available options, including cancelling, looking at other dates later in the year and assessing the impact the weather has had on other locations. With a busy calendar and a bleak long term weather outlook, looking for another venue for this weekend was considered the preferred option.

Harthill near Tattenhall in Cheshire is the chosen venue. The format will stay the same, so it’s round 4 of the series on Saturday with racing starting around 12.30pm and the National Championships on Sunday also starting around 12.30pm commencing with the senior time trial.

Contesting the Senior race are 45 of the UK’s best fourcross racers including Katy Curd, Scott Beaumont, Scott Roberts, Luke Limbrick, Tom Dowie, Duncan Ferris, Will Evans, Lewis Lacey, Isaac Munday and veteran racer Martin Ogden making it a who’s who of British fourcross. Championship races will also take place for Juveniles, Youth, Junior, Master and Veteran.
