With less than two weeks to go before the long-awaited Nutcracker series kicks off in North Yorkshire, organisers Bikelicker Events have announced their main series partners for 2010.
There are four main partners on board so far, with organisers still actively discussing series partnerships with several other big names.
Dare 2B is a brand of the regatta group and offers a range of cycle and ski wear. They will be providing prizes for each race. Anybody who volunteers as a marshal at any of the 6 events will also receive a Dare 2B clothing pack as a reward for their efforts.
Kudu Bikes is both an online and real bike shop in Hawes, North Yorkshire. Quickly becoming established as one of the region's best bike shops, organisers are delighted to have Kudu on board. They will be providing prizes for each race and will also be on site at each event offering vital technical support and retailing a range of last minute essentials should anyone have forgotten something.
Orange Mountain Bikes are providing a fleet of demo bikes for each event in the series. These bikes really are the best in British bicycle manufacturing. Anybody wishing to arrange a demo should contact Martin at Kudu Bikes and he'll do his best to make sure that the appropriate machine is waiting for you to try when you arrive at the race venue.
Dales Mountain Biking have been on board with the series from the start. Now also boasting their fantastic new Dales Bike Centre in Fremington, North Yorkshire, Stu and the gang are providing the venue for Nutcracker 4 on 22 August. This should prove to be a fantastic new venue.
Online entry for Nutcracker 1 on 4th April is still open and will remain so until Sunday 28th March. Anybody wishing to enter the race after this date can still do so but must just pay on the day of the race, which incurs a £5 premium. Organisers are stressing the ease and value of the advance online entry system, available via the event website: www.nutcrackermtb.co.uk
A list of all pre-entered riders will be added to the series website next Sunday evening (28th March) along with a downloadable competitors' information pack detailing directions and instructions on what to do upon arrival at Camp Hill. Anybody with any questions in the meantime should contact Series Director James Hall on 07725 305988 or via email: james@bikelicker.com
